Pet Peeve of the Moment

People who mark all of their emails "URGENT!" (even the non-urgent emails).
It just makes me want to ignore you when you do that!!

Song of the Moment

Wishing You Were Mine by Ian Archer
(except I change the lyrics and replace "mine" with "HERE")

I am wishing you were, wishing you were, wishing you were HERE!
I've seen your face and I've caught your eye from time to time.
Can't think of a single way of keeping you from my mind.
I am wishing you were wishing you were wishing you were HERE!

Skincare Dalek

Blue Monday

Today is the most depressing day of the year
(Just thought you might like to know!)
Sounds like an excuse to eat chocolate!

Home

Phil is home!
(But only for 24 hours)
Today I listen to stories and eat fancy German Chocolate.
Tomorrow he leaves again.

Stupid Leader Meeting

Every month, the Girl Scouts have what I lovingly call "The Stupid Leader Meeting."
("Stupid" can modify either "leader" or "meeting").

These meetings are required waste of time.
Things are repeated 3 or 4 times, they go over stuff that has already been said in emails or other meetings, and the people who get up and talk aren't prepared so it takes them a while to figure out what they're trying to say (meanwhile, they're begging/guilting people to take on additional volunteer jobs).

I shouldn't complain - The December meeting was cancelled and I got my co-leader to go to the November one. So it's not like it's not like I've had to suffer recently ::sigh:: BUT I'd much rather stay in my warm warm house wrapped in a blanket with The Kitty on my lap and watch a movie tonight.

It's such a good feeling to know you're alive.
It's such a happy feeling: You're growing inside.

It's such a good feeling, a very good feeling,
The feeling you know that we're friends.
