The person who will be my boss at my future internship called me this morning. The president of the board was looking for people to help with the annual board meeting / fundraise and my name was mentioned. It's going to be a dinner thing followed by attending The Producers. So on Friday - I'm going to work the registration table (where all thebig wigs with mega money check in) for an hour or two with another gal on staff. THEN, as a "thank you" for helping, I get to go eat dinner and then go to the show (I'm told I'll have pretty good seats too!!) One just has to love this whole arts administration sceen. This is way too cool!!! (I was literally bouncing up and down this morning after they called!! Does anyone else have an internship THIS COOL????)
