From the Suzuki Chat ListServ . . .
There is a quote in the book Comparison of Violin Playing Techniques: Kato Havas, Paul Rolland, and Shinichi Suzuki by Marianne Murray Perkins, pub. by ASTA by a colleague of Suzuki (Moghilevsky) which says;
"I am an artist. Today I am not what I was yesterday. If what I said a week ago is no longer correct to me today, I correct myself toward what I now believe to be better. What I am today is my life. Although I feel sorry for my students, I must allow myself to change, because my life as an artist has ended when I no longer change."
